Myself and two friends booked this tour the morning of over the phone, I was nervous we had missed out with a late booking but there was enough room for us. So glad we did as we had the most spectacular day. We were picked up seamlessly from the meeting point and met Craig our driver and host. He was full of knowledge and good banter and as we traveled out of the city into the hills he gave us a quick rundown of the history of Adelaide and also pointed out some of his go-to spots along the way. The views were phenomenal. We arrived at our first winery, Shingleback there we had a delicious cheese platter and got to sample some wines. The tasting was super fun and informative. Craig took his time to point out some iconic views on the way to our next stop Chapel Hill. Views were great here, the tasting was shorter than the previous winery but equally informative. En route back to the city we did a coastal drive and stop off at Glenelg, we chose not to stay for the evening and continue back into the city but that definitely would have been a fun option and it was great to have the choice. We had such a fun day, really got great value for money considering it is a half day tour. Craig was amazing and same with the gentleman who took my booking. Would definitely recommend this tour, in particular if you are short on time like we were !

Craig was an amazing tour guide. Went out of his way to give us a fantastic scenic experience of beaches. Shingleback lady Hannah was a fantastic wine taste host. A lovely homely feel to this place. The best tour

The trip was a great experience, especially the two winery visits. The initial tour of the hills were a little boring ,and we did not have enough time in Glenelg, but the welcome that we received in the wineries was brilliant , with a special mention to Shingleback Winery , lovey people and great wines. Perhaps go straight to the McLaren Vale area and include a third winery and have a bit more time in Glenelg.

Great tour and friendly guide. Highly recommended. For some reason Viator has a 100 character min for reviews.

A fun day out - our guide was great and we learnt a lot about McClaren Vale. Would recommend. Loved the tasting at Chapel Hill.

This was a great afternoon tour. Two great wineries plus loads of additional stops along the way. Craig our tour guide was informative and really aimed to please. Would definitely recommend this trip if you only have a short time in Adelaide.

This was the 2nd wine tour of our trip, 3rd overall and best by far. Craig, our driver and guide was totally professional, knowledgeable and thoroughly helpful. It was a pleasure to have him as our guide and the day could not have been better. We went to two wineries, were given many free tastings and had loads of time to enjoy the experience, in addition to taking in some amazing sights of the coastal towns around Adelaide. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he ensured everyone onboard had a great day, which sadly can't be said of another company we went with. Don't be put off with the relatively low price, the quality of service and experience cannot be beaten. Will certainly book again when we next visit Adelaide!

I highly recommend this trip. Interesting commentary and both wineries were welcoming offering a wide selection of wines. The guides were knowledgeable and informative. A very enjoyable experience.
